The Cagayan State University Sanchez Mira campus has implemented a web-based Visitor Management System to enhance efficiency and security in handling visitor access. This system offers a user-friendly interface that allows staff and visitors to navigate the platform with ease, simplifying the process of visitor registration and attendance tracking. Enhanced security features are built into the system to protect visitor information, verify identities, and enforce access controls, ensuring the privacy and safety of campus personnel and guests. A key component of the system is QR code attendance monitoring, which provides each visitor with a unique QR code for secure check-in and check-out, enabling real-time attendance tracking and minimizing unauthorized access. Developed by Alyzza May Pulido, Jenny Marie Untalan, and Mark Jerome Calata, this system represents a streamlined and secure solution for managing campus visitors.
Visitor arrives at the website or location and clicks on the "Request Register" button.
Visitor fills out the registration form with basic information and purpose of visit.
Visitor submits the form and waits for approval from the admin.
Administrator receives request of visitor registration and reviews the information provided.
Administrator approves or denies the visitor's request based on the provided details.
Visitor receives a confirmation email with approval status and a QR code if approved.
Visitor arrives at the location and checks in by scanning the QR code sent by the admin.
The system automatically records the visitor’s check-in time and date.
When leaving the location, the visitor checks out by scanning the QR code again to record the departure.
